A Day of Inspiration at Decorex, Olympia

Yesterday, I headed to Decorex at Olympia, London, for a wonderful day immersed in all things interiors. It was a fantastic opportunity to discover new ideas, explore beautiful products and catch up with the latest inspiration from across the design world.

One of the highlights was meeting up with fellow designers from the Interior Designers Hub. It was lovely to put faces to names, share experiences and spend time with others who are just as passionate about interior design. Building these connections is such a valuable part of the journey.

There was so much to explore, from beautiful fabrics and wallcoverings to decorative finishes, lighting and furniture. I particularly enjoyed discovering exhibitors such as IAN Mankin, Linwood, COAT Paints and Armac Martin, all offering inspiration for creating thoughtful, characterful interiors.

The Design Talks programme was another real highlight, offering fresh perspectives, practical insights and plenty of food for thought. Hearing industry voices share their knowledge and experiences is always a valuable reminder of how much creativity and innovation there is within the world of interiors.

For me, days like this are about more than discovering beautiful products. They’re about learning, making connections and finding new ways to bring together traditional craftsmanship, timeless design and modern living.

I came away feeling inspired, with plenty of ideas to reflect on and new connections to nurture. A big thank you to everyone from the Interior Designers Hub who made the day so enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity to connect, learn and discover something new!
